Community Notice:

Hey, Shimmering Community.

Our website is currently down for maintenance. We have plans to make a brand-new website that we can host ourselves instead of on a website builder such as Wix or Squarespace, so this is going to take a hot minute, but it should hopefully be much cheaper than what we're paying for using a website builder. We appreciate the cooperation, and hopefully this will not take long, and hopefully it should be a lot better and easier to navigate, though I can't make any promises. Though the site will be open source, so the source code will be available on our GitHub page for you to edit and contribute to, sadly I think we'll be going back to Google Forms for all of our applications and appeals and stuff, so it's going to be a little bit more rough around the edges. Hopefully we can find a solution to that, but for now we're not going to worry about it right now. We're going to worry about making sure the website's all nice and good, and then we can worry about implementing the forms on the new site later.

Also, since we're not using a website builder anymore, we no longer have forums anymore, but we do have plans to bring the forums back. We have a few options which we'll probably list in this notice for y'all to choose between, maybe we'll make a google form that y'all can reply to and let us know which forum software we should use to replace our website builder forum. And that's it. I think most of our options are free and open source. So that means the source code will be available for the forms which will be a great bonus. We also have a support site now via support.starlightcommunity.network

This will be updated with time, so stay tuned.
